May 2008 - "Gold Necklace" was chosen for The Guilded Palette exhibit at the Figge Museum of Art. This exhibit was in conjunction with their annual gala which had an East Indian theme. With my mother as my date, I was proud to attend the gala and to be exhibiting at the museum. |

March 2008 - My jewelry has been chosen for display in the Art Cafe at the Figge Art Museum as part of the Venus Envy and also 2008 art exhibit at The Bucktown Center for the ArtsDavenport, Iowa. The exhibit will in run from May 3rd - 30th and will feature the work of 46 local and regional female artists. The opening celebration will be on May 3rd from 6-11pm with live music and dance performances throughout the evening. My pieces chosen for the exhibit are "My Pretty Pendant", "Chakra Necklace", "Female Achetypes Pendant Series" and "Gold Necklace". Venus

2008 - The first week of classes at
Grinnell FiberWorks went really well! I had a great group
of students and they did a fabulous job on their
projects! I forgot my camera (that will never happen
again) but we shot this photo of the button bracelets
with a cell phone. The picture quality may not be very
good but the jewelry was fantastic! |

2007 - I now have some of my artwork available
at the Grinnell FiberWorks in Grinnell, Iowa. I will also be
teaching bead weaving and bead embroidery classes after
the first of the year. They have a great website and a
wonderful store filled with all sorts of beautiful things
to make any fiber artist drool! Class Schedule |

- Canyonlands was selected as a finalist in the
beadwork division at the 2007 Albuquerque Fiber Arts
Fiesta and won 3rd place! August 2007 - This piece also won first place in it's division at the 2007 Iowa State Fair |
